Our air conditioning service in KT17
We fit wall-mounted splits, multi-split systems, ducted systems and ceiling cassettes, plus VRF systems for bigger commercial buildings. Which one suits you depends on the space, the building and how much of the unit you want to see, and we explain the options on the survey. The work covers VRF systems, ducted systems and wall-mounted split systems, and the jobs we see most are expensive direct electric heating and an ageing air conditioning system near the end of its life.
Each visit follows the same order: check the plan with you, protect the area, carry out the job, check the system and talk you through it. The visit itself takes anything from a day for one room to several days for a multi-room or ducted system.
- Diagnosis comes first, with a survey of the rooms, outside space and fuse board.
- Next, a recommendation for each room and a fixed price.
- Then the work: units up, pipes and drain run, and a new circuit where necessary.
- Before it runs, the pipework is proved tight and put under vacuum.
- The sign-off: commissioning, a walk through the controls, and the F-Gas records and warranty details.
Pricing in KT17
What you pay depends on the system and the number of rooms or units, how easy the units are to reach and what the work involves. We give you a fixed price before any work starts, so there are no surprises.

Air conditioning across KT17: local notes
In KT17, we install in places such as Epsom, Ewell and Nork and well beyond. Every place on our KT17 list (9 in all) is covered.
KT17 is part of a working area that runs from Greater London to the Sussex coast and out to Oxfordshire and Essex. You reach the same people wherever you are in it.
Stoneleigh: Fitznells Manor, about 0.8 miles south, is one of the historic houses nearby, and if your own home is listed, consent comes before any air conditioning is fixed to it. Plenty of people near Stoneleigh station split the week between the train and a spare room, and that spare room is often the first to get a unit.
Fixed-price quotes for air conditioning in KT17
The price is fixed before any work begins. It takes into account:
- What kind of system it is

- Which make and model is being fitted or worked on
One room or a whole building, we price it on the same basis: the work involved, the access and the equipment. You will have a fixed price before any work starts, with VAT shown clearly.

Leave it or put it right?
Planning ahead beats a rushed decision in a heatwave. A rushed choice is often the wrong size or in the wrong place, and that is hard to put right later. Booking the survey early gives you time to weigh up the options.
Comparing quotes
- Who does the electrical work, and whether they can certify it
- What happens if the job turns out to be different on the day
- What the manufacturer’s warranty covers and for how long
- If the figure could change on the day
Honest limits
Air conditioning cannot fix everything, and we’ll tell you before work begins. It will not put right:
- Heat loss through very poor insulation (a system will heat the room, but insulation is a separate job)
- Damp from leaks or a lack of ventilation
- Gas boiler or central heating faults (we don’t work on gas boilers)
Different systems, different jobs
Electrical supply
Most systems need their own circuit from the consumer unit. We are NICEIC approved, so we fit and certify the circuit ourselves and that covers the Part P side.
Multi-split systems
Two rooms on a multi-split are typically £2,800–£4,500 + VAT, and three to five rooms £4,500–£8,500 + VAT. The pipe routes to each room make the biggest difference to the price.
FAQs for KT17
How does the warranty work?
The manufacturer provides it, on its own terms. Some terms depend on regular servicing by a qualified engineer so it’s worth keeping the service records.
How do you keep the place clean during the work?
We start with protection: dust sheets over floors and anything close to the work. Any drilling is agreed with you first, and we clear up the dust and offcuts when we finish.
Do you have a 24/7 line?
Yes. There’s a 24/7 emergency line for problems that cannot wait for a planned visit. Call 07833 053749 and tell us what’s happened.
Can air conditioning heat my home as well?
Most of the time, yes. Running as a heat pump, it moves heat in from outside rather than making it from electricity alone. To replace your main heating, there are extra conditions, including for the £2,500 Boiler Upgrade Scheme grant for air-to-air heat pumps.
Will skipping a service affect the warranty?
Each manufacturer decides. Where servicing is a condition, a missed service could give the manufacturer grounds to refuse a claim and we will tell you what your brand asks for.
Why use an F-Gas certified company?
Companies working on equipment that contains F gas must be certified by an approved body, and each engineer needs the right qualifications too. It’s how you know the refrigerant is being handled legally and safely.
Can you set up regular servicing?
Yes. Tell us what you have and how it’s used, and we’ll suggest a schedule with a fixed price. Leak checks required by the F-gas rules can be built in for larger systems.
