Air conditioning for London and the South East
Installation, repair and servicing for homes and businesses, from our base in East Grinstead. F-Gas certified, NICEIC approved and MCS certified, with a fixed-price quote before any work starts.
Cooling, heating and the paperwork done properly
AirCon Doctor installs, repairs and services air conditioning for homes and businesses across London and the South East. We’re based in East Grinstead, West Sussex, and we work across Greater London, Surrey, Kent, Sussex, Hampshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Hertfordshire and Essex.
Installation is the heart of what we do. That might be a single wall-mounted unit for a hot bedroom or home office, a multi-split system cooling several rooms from one outdoor unit, a ducted system hidden in the loft or ceiling, ceiling cassettes for an office or shop, or VRF for a larger building. We fit leading brands, including Mitsubishi Electric, Daikin, Fujitsu, Panasonic, Toshiba, LG, Samsung, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and Hitachi.
We also repair and service systems of all the main makes, whoever installed them, and run a 24/7 line for emergency breakdowns. For heating, we fit air-to-air and air-to-water heat pumps, and as an MCS certified company we can apply for the Boiler Upgrade Scheme grant on your behalf. Businesses come to us for commercial systems, maintenance contracts, TM44 inspection support, ventilation and MVHR and air conditioning hire.
Every job starts the same way: we look at the property, on a site survey or from your photos for simpler jobs, and give you a fixed-price quote. A single-room split system is typically £1,200–£2,200 + VAT, supplied and fitted, with commissioning and F-Gas records included. Our prices page has the other ranges.
Warranty cover is the manufacturer’s, and we explain the terms for your chosen brand on the quote. Send us a few details and we’ll reply the same working day.

Questions about air conditioning
The questions we’re asked most. Can’t find yours? Get in touch and we’ll reply the same working day.
Get a quoteHow much does air conditioning cost?
A single-room split system is typically £1,200–£2,200 + VAT, supplied and fitted. A two-room multi-split is typically £2,800–£4,500 + VAT, and three to five rooms £4,500–£8,500 + VAT. You get a fixed-price quote after the survey.
Do you need to visit before quoting?
For most installations, yes: a site survey lets us check room sizes, outdoor unit positions, pipe routes and power. For simple jobs, photos and measurements can be enough.
Which areas do you cover?
We’re based in East Grinstead, West Sussex, and we work across Greater London and the South East, from Kent and Essex to Hampshire, Oxfordshire and Hertfordshire.
Can air conditioning heat my home as well?
Most modern split systems heat as well as cool. The Energy Saving Trust notes that air-to-air heat pumps are sometimes referred to as air conditioning. Tell us if you want heating too, as it changes how we size the system.
What warranty do I get?
The manufacturer’s warranty for your chosen unit. Terms vary by brand and product, and we explain them on your quote.
How quickly will you reply?
We reply to every enquiry the same working day. For a breakdown, call our 24/7 line on 07833 053749.
