We install, service and repair the leading air conditioning and heat pump brands, and we’re not tied to one manufacturer, so we can recommend what suits the room, the building and your budget.
Most leading brands make good air conditioning. The differences that matter are in the details: how a unit looks, how quiet it is at low fan speeds, how well it heats in winter, what the app does, and what the manufacturer’s warranty covers. A well-designed, properly installed system from any of the brands below will usually serve you better than the “best” brand badly sized or badly fitted.
So we start with the room, not the logo. At the survey we look at the size of the space, the windows and insulation, where the outdoor unit can sensibly go, how the pipework and condensate will run and how you want to use the system. Then we suggest one or two models that fit, and explain why.
A few honest pointers when you compare quotes:
- Compare exact model numbers, not just brands. Every brand has cheaper and dearer ranges.
- Ask whose warranty it is. The warranty is the manufacturer’s, and with several brands its length depends on the installer’s status with that manufacturer. We explain the manufacturer’s terms on your quote and don’t add a warranty of our own.
- Think about servicing. Most manufacturers expect regular maintenance, and records help if you ever need to claim.
- Existing systems: staying with the same brand can keep controls and parts consistent, but it isn’t essential.
