Our air conditioning service in N15
Any installation we do in N15 follows the same process as everywhere else we work: survey, fixed-price quote, a neat installation, full commissioning and the F-Gas paperwork. The price is fixed up front and the records are handed over at the end. The work covers air-to-air heat pumps, ceiling cassettes and ducted systems, and people most often call us about bedrooms and offices that overheat in summer and a loft conversion that’s too warm to use.
Where something has to be switched off during the work, we agree it with you first so it does not catch you out. For businesses, we can usually work room by room or zone by zone. On site, it takes about a day for a single-room system, longer for multi-room and ducted systems.
- We start by looking at the rooms, the walls and where the outdoor unit can go.
- Each room is sized and you get a fixed-price quote setting out the equipment and the unit positions.
- The units go up and the pipework, cable and condensate drain are run neatly between them.
- Power is wired in, the joints are proved leak-tight under pressure and a vacuum pump draws out air and moisture.
- Last comes the run-up: every mode checked, the controls explained and the paperwork left with you.
What affects the price in N15
Typical ranges are on our prices page, but each job is priced on what it involves. Call for a fixed-price quote, and we will explain what it covers.
What you get with us
- Warranty terms set out brand by brand
- Enquiries answered the same working day
- An F-Gas certified company, as the law requires
- MCS certification for heat pump work
How to get a quote
Some jobs can be priced from photos, while others need a survey. Multi-room systems, commercial buildings and anything with a long or hidden pipe route are normally surveyed first. Either way, the quote is fixed before anything goes ahead.

Air conditioning across N15: local notes
Our air conditioning work across N15 takes in places such as Tottenham, Tottenham Green and South Tottenham and the smaller places around them. We cover every place we list for N15, 14 in all.
We are based in East Grinstead and work across London and the South East, N15 included. Every job starts with a site survey or photos, then a fixed-price quote.
Tottenham Green: Homes near Church of Holy Trinity are a good example of where we look up the heritage status of the building before fixing anything to it. Plenty of people near Seven Sisters station split the week between the train and a spare room, and that spare room is often the first to get a unit.
Owner checks or an engineer?
Write down what you notice: an error code, a new noise, a drip, a smell or a change in how well the system heats or cools. It helps us diagnose quickly, and a photo or a short video of the display is even better.
Owner care supports servicing; it doesn’t replace it. Clean filters and a clear outdoor unit help the system run as it should, but the inside of the units, the refrigerant and the electrics still need a qualified engineer.
System by system
Multi-split systems
A multi-split runs several indoor units from one outdoor unit. It saves wall space outside and suits homes where several rooms need cooling, with each room controlled separately.
Pipework and condensate drains
Between the units run the refrigerant pipes, the control cable and the condensate drain. The route is agreed before any drilling, and keep it as short and neat as the building allows.
Why it fails
In shops, offices and restaurants, the heat comes from customers, staff, equipment and lighting as well as the sun. Keeping staff and customers comfortable is usually what prompts the call, and some rooms need cooling for the equipment as much as the people.
Reasons to give us a call include:
- Rooms under the roof that stay hot into the night
- A home office that warms up with screens and equipment
- Fans and portables that don’t keep up
- A business premises that overheats in summer
What happens if it’s left?
For homeowners, timing can matter for VAT: HMRC zero-rates the installation of energy-saving materials in homes until 31 March 2027, after which the rate becomes 5%. Whether a particular system qualifies depends on the facts and we confirm the VAT on your quote. This is general information, not tax advice.
Questions to ask before you book
- Who does the electrical work, and whether they can certify it
- Whether extra work needs your approval first
- Whether they looked at the job before pricing it
- Whose warranty applies, and on what terms
Questions from N15
How soon will you get back to me?
We reply to enquiries the same working day. If it’s an emergency, ring the 24/7 line instead.
Can we book visits on a schedule?
Yes. We offer maintenance contracts, with visits at the interval your system and the manufacturer need. Each visit is recorded and F-Gas records kept where they apply.
How does the warranty work?
Warranty is the manufacturer’s own, on its terms. Each brand sets its own conditions and periods, so we explain them on your quote.
Can I do the refrigerant work myself?
Not the refrigerant work. Under the F-gas rules, it must be done by qualified engineers from a certified company, and a new circuit is notifiable under Part P unless a registered electrician, such as a NICEIC approved contractor, does it.
Do you protect the property while you work?
We put dust sheets over floors and furniture near the work first, and the area is kept tidy throughout. Before we leave, we clear up and run through the work with you.
Do you cover N15?
Yes. N15 is part of the area we cover, within the South East and London area we cover. We’re based in East Grinstead, West Sussex.
Which brands do you work with?
We install and work on the leading makes, from Mitsubishi Electric, Daikin and Fujitsu to Panasonic, Toshiba, LG, Samsung, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and Hitachi. Tell us the make and model and we’ll take it from there.
