Questions from New Zealand
Do you cover smaller places like New Zealand?
Yes, smaller places are covered as well as towns. Send a few details and pictures, and we reply the same working day.
Do you cover New Zealand for commercial air conditioning?
We do: New Zealand falls inside our working area. Just ring us on 07833 053749 or fill in the contact form with a few details.
What kind of air conditioning can you install in a business?
We install wall-mounted, cassette, ducted, multi-split and VRF systems. We recommend the type that suits your space.
Do you provide F-Gas records?
Yes, always. New installations come with commissioning details, F-Gas records and warranty information, and repairs and services get a record of the work.
Do you work on all makes?
The main ones, including Mitsubishi Electric, Daikin, Fujitsu, Panasonic, Toshiba, LG, Samsung, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and Hitachi. For a new system, we suggest the make and model that suit the property and explain why.
When is a TM44 inspection required?
At over 12 kW, inspections are due at least every 5 years. An accredited energy assessor does the inspection, and we can carry out the recommended work.
How soon will you get back to me?
The same working day. After that, we agree a survey, diagnosis or installation date that suits you, and you get a fixed price before any work goes ahead.
How we handle commercial air conditioning in New Zealand
Where equipment generates heat around the clock, the cooling has to keep pace. We look at the heat load and how the room is used, and can discuss backup units so one failure does not take everything down. The work covers server and comms room cooling, VRF systems and wall-mounted split systems, and the jobs we see most are new tenancies needing cooling and heating and buildings that can’t close for the work.
In a village like New Zealand, commercial air conditioning is usually for a pub, a shop, a surgery, a village hall or a rural business. Older buildings may be listed, so planning comes first.
Any work on the refrigerant circuit is recorded: what was done, the refrigerant type and any amount added or recovered. File them with the system’s paperwork, ready for the next service or a warranty query.

System by system
Ceiling cassettes
Ceiling cassettes spread air across a room from a single grille. They suit open-plan offices, shops and restaurants where there’s a ceiling void.
Offices
Office cooling has to cope with people, computers, lighting and sunshine. We size the system for the actual heat load and choose units that suit the ceiling and layout.
What happens on the day
If the system has to be off for part of the visit, we tell you before we start, so you can plan around it. In a business, work can often be done one area at a time. On site, it takes from a couple of days for a few cassettes to a planned programme for a whole building. Somewhere like New Zealand, it helps to know about lanes, gates and where to park.
- It starts with a survey on site, looking at the space, the people in it and the equipment.
- We send a fixed-price quote showing the system, the unit positions and how the work will be phased.
- We agree a programme that suits the site, including evening, weekend or phased installation.
- We fit the units, run and test the pipework, connect the condensate and wire in the controls.
- Finally it’s commissioned and handed over, with the refrigerant records and manuals for your files.
How to prepare
- Move furniture away from the wall where we will be working
- Let us know if the building has a permit or sign-in process
- Mention any roof access, ladders or high-level work
Getting a quote
VAT is set out clearly on every quote, and the rate that applies to your job is stated. VAT can differ between homes and businesses and between kinds of work, so we confirm it on the quote. To get one, call 07833 053749 or use the quote form.

Commercial air conditioning around New Zealand
Food Standards Agency data counts about 88 restaurants, cafés and canteens, about 23 schools and colleges and about 34 care, childcare and hospital premises within about 1.5 miles of central New Zealand. Each of those is a different cooling job, from kitchen heat to quiet bedrooms and server rooms. In the mile around New Zealand’s centre, 2 conservation areas have been designated. Listed buildings are part of the picture here: about 12 within half a mile of the centre, such as Church of St Mary (grade I). None of this rules air conditioning out. It just means the planning position is checked before anyone suggests a spot for the outdoor unit.
If you look after a school such as Elmhurst School, classroom, office and IT room cooling is usually installed in the holidays.
New Zealand is about 1 mile west of Elmhurst, in Buckinghamshire. Homes and businesses alike in New Zealand, we can help with commercial air conditioning. We reply to enquiries the same working day and our emergency line runs 24/7. Our area takes in 263 places across Buckinghamshire. London, roughly 38 miles off, has its own page on this site.
Jobs in HP19 and HP20 are looked at, quoted and booked the same way as anywhere else. We cover homes and businesses on Dunsham Lane, Drayton Road and Cannock Road and the roads around them. Close to New Zealand, our area also takes in Elmhurst (1 mile east), Aylesbury (1 mile south), Watermead (1 mile north-east), Quarrendon Estate (1 mile west) and California (1 mile south). Larger places within reach include High Wycombe (14 miles south), Chesham (12 miles south-east), Buckingham (14 miles north-west) and Amersham (14 miles south-east).
What’s near New Zealand

When to call us in New Zealand
Restaurants and hotels need comfortable rooms for guests and staff. Each area has its own hours and heat load and that shapes the system and the controls.
The things we are asked about most include:
- Offices that get too hot in summer
- Leak check schedules that have slipped
- Planning ahead for the HFC phase-down
If your office near Aylesbury station has a comms or server room, it needs cooling all year, not just in summer.
Questions to ask before you book
- Whether they hold F-Gas company certification, not just individual qualifications
- Whether the quote is a fixed price
- Who does the electrical work, and whether they can certify it
Owner checks or an engineer?
Some faults have simple causes you can check first: check the mode, the set temperature, the remote’s batteries and the breaker. If the breaker trips a second time, leave it off and ring 07833 053749.
Keep a note of anything odd: an error code, a new noise, a drip, a smell or a change in how well the system heats or cools. It makes our diagnosis quicker, and a photo of the display helps even more.
