Maintenance contracts
With a contract, the number of visits, the scope and the cost are agreed in writing, fixed with your quote. It works for one unit at home or many across a site.
Refrigerant performance and leak checks
We check how the refrigerant circuit is performing, checking temperatures and pressures against what the system should achieve. If the readings suggest gas has been lost, we explain what that means.
About our air conditioning servicing in Roedean
For homes with one or two units and businesses with many, we can set up a maintenance contract. We agree the visits, what each one covers and the price with your quote, so the system is looked after on a regular schedule. Typical jobs include systems that haven’t been serviced for a while and condensate leaking into the room, across air-to-air heat pumps, VRF systems and wall-mounted split systems.
Several units at a home near Roedean can be serviced in one visit.
Each manufacturer sets its own warranty period. For instance, Daikin’s standard warranty on split air conditioning is 2 years, and its longer extensions apply to its air-to-water units only. For any other brand, we explain the manufacturer’s terms on your quote.

Pricing air conditioning servicing in Roedean
Typical ranges are on our prices page, and your quote is built on your job. The quote depends on:
- Whether it’s a one-off job or part of a maintenance contract
- The number of rooms, units or zones
- The type of system, from a single split to a larger system
Whatever the property, the quote works the same way: the equipment, the access, the work involved and the time it takes. Ask for a fixed-price quote and we’ll explain each part.
Before you get in touch
Before you ask for a quote, gather:
- The address and the type of property
- Any previous service or F-Gas records
- The fuse board and where it is in the property
Quoting starts with a diagnosis, either on a site survey or, for simple jobs, from your pictures and details. Then you get a fixed price so you know the cost before we begin.
Looking after your system
After the visit, a few habits help:
- Keep plants, bins and stored items away from the outdoor unit
- Rinse the indoor unit filters every few weeks when the system is in heavy use
- Make sure the condensate outlet can drain
Once we have gone, use the system as normal and see how it performs. If you notice anything unusual, phone 07833 053749 or send an email and we will look into it.
Make sure condensate pipes outside aren’t crushed, blocked or buried. If the outlet is blocked, the water has to go somewhere, and that is normally back towards the indoor unit.
Roedean: your questions answered
Does my air con in Roedean need a yearly service?
A yearly visit is right for most households. Larger systems holding 5 tonnes CO2 equivalent or more also need a leak check at least every 12 months under the F-gas rules.
Does sea air affect air conditioning in Roedean?
It can. Roedean is within about 1 mile of the coast, and salt air speeds up corrosion on outdoor units. A yearly service that rinses and checks the outdoor coil matters more near the sea.
What accreditations do you have?
We are an F-Gas certified company, NICEIC approved for electrical work and MCS certified for heat pumps. We are members of Checkatrade too.
Will you work on another installer’s system?
Yes. We look at it first and tell you what we find, including anything about the original installation that needs putting right. Any work is priced before it goes ahead.
What do you check on an air conditioning service?
A full clean and check of the system. That means filters, coils and drains, plus electrical connections, controls and refrigerant performance with leak checks where the rules require them.
Why does F-Gas certification matter?
The law says any company working on equipment containing F gas has to be certified, and the engineers need their own qualifications. It means the refrigerant in your system is handled legally.
How quickly will you reply?
You will hear from us the same working day. If it’s an emergency, ring the 24/7 line instead.
What happens on the day
You don’t need to do much on the day. Just let us in and point us to the units, or to where they’ll be fitted, and we take it from there. At the end, we tidy up and run through the work with you. Seeing the property in photos first means the trip to Roedean can be planned properly.
- You tell us the brand, the number of indoor units and any symptoms.
- The indoor units are opened up and the filters, coils and drain trays cleaned.
- The outdoor unit gets its own clean, with leaves and debris cleared away.
- Electrical connections, controls and refrigerant performance are tested.
- If a repair is needed, you hear why and what it costs before anything is done.
Before we arrive
- Mention any parking restrictions near the property
- Make sure we can reach the outdoor unit, or where it will go
- Arrange for someone to be there to let us in
Get a fixed-price quote
Published ranges are a starting point; the quote is built on your property, because every property is different. After a look at the job, by photos or a survey, the price is fixed. To start, give us a ring on 07833 053749 or send an email.

The coast is only about 1 mile from Roedean. A yearly service matters more near the coast, where salt speeds up corrosion on coils and fixings. Census 2021 figures found about 70% of households live in flats. Outdoor units serving flats can be awkward to reach, so let us know where yours is.
If you look after a school such as St Mark's CofE Primary School, servicing is easiest in the holidays. If you cannot remember the last service, it’s probably due.
