Air conditioning installation, repair, servicing and heat pumps across PO14, from our base in East Grinstead.

Air conditioning in PO14: how it works

We fit wall-mounted splits, multi-split systems, ducted systems and ceiling cassettes, with VRF for larger buildings. The right choice depends on the rooms, the building and how visible you want the indoor units to be and we talk you through it on the survey. Common call-outs are for a loft conversion that’s too warm to use and rooms that get too hot to sleep or work in, on wall-mounted split systems, multi-split systems and air-to-air heat pumps.

Our engineers bring the tools, gauges and access equipment the job needs. You only need to give us clear access to the units, or their planned positions, and to the fuse board. The visit takes about a day for a single-room system, longer for multi-room and ducted systems.

  1. You send pictures, or we visit and survey the rooms and outside.
  2. Each room is sized and the unit positions agreed, then you get a fixed-price quote.
  3. We protect the area, then fit both halves of the system.
  4. We run and connect the pipes, cable and drain, then pressure test and evacuate the circuit.
  5. The system is commissioned, the controls explained and the F-Gas records handed over.

Pricing in PO14

No two properties are the same, so we price each one individually. The system, the access, the pipe routes and the parts involved all make a difference.

How to get a quote

Every quote starts with a look at the job, either on a site survey or, for simple jobs, from your pictures and details. After that, we send a fixed price so you know the cost before we begin.

What’s near Stubbington

Around Stubbington, our work takes us to homes and businesses near The Osborne View pub, Stubbington House School and Crofton Anne Dale Junior School and the streets around them. You will also find Holy Rood Church (within half a mile east) and Crofton School (0.6 miles east). The closest station to Stubbington is Fareham station, roughly 2.3 miles north-east of the centre. A little further out are Gosport War Memorial Hospital (3.7 miles south-east) and Carron Row Farm Museum (2.5 miles north). Green spaces nearby include West of the River Alver.

Air conditioning across PO14: local notes

In PO14, as across England, the same permitted development rules apply: cooling-only units aren’t covered, listed buildings need consent and conservation areas restrict outdoor units facing a road.

Our area stretches from Greater London through Surrey, Kent and Sussex to Hampshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Hertfordshire and Essex, and PO14 sits within it. You reach the same people wherever you are in it. In the coastal parts of PO14, outdoor units benefit from a sheltered position and regular servicing, and some manufacturers offer corrosion-protected coils.

Stubbington: If your home is in one of the older streets near Holy Rood Church, it’s worth checking whether it’s listed or in a conservation area before an install. Most people start with the room that gets hottest, then add more rooms on a multi-split if needed.

What you can do yourself, and what needs us

Leave the units and pipework where they are. Moving a unit involves the refrigerant circuit, so it needs an F-Gas qualified engineer, and the electrical side needs a competent person. Ask us to quote for a move instead.

Good habits make our visits easier, not unnecessary. Simple care keeps the air moving through the system, but the refrigerant circuit, the electrics and the parts you can’t see still need an engineer at the interval the manufacturer recommends.

System by system

Outdoor unit positions

On flats and terraced houses, space outside is often the deciding factor. We look at walls, roofs, balconies and yards on the survey and we flag any consent you may need.

Electrical supply

Most systems need their own circuit from the consumer unit. We’re NICEIC approved, so we fit and certify the circuit ourselves and that covers the Part P side.

Honest limits

Before booking, it helps to know what’s not included:

  • An installation that needs consent nobody has given yet
  • Draughts and missing insulation
  • A ventilation problem rather than a temperature problem

Rented and managed buildings

Running several properties is easier with one contractor. Our area covers Greater London and the South East, so work at different addresses can be planned together and kept on a regular cycle.

We also work for facilities teams in offices, schools and public buildings across Hampshire. Larger buildings can be done in stages around the people who use them.

PO14 questions

How do you keep the place clean during the work?

We start with protection: dust sheets over floors and anything close to the work. Any drilling is agreed with you first, and we clear up the dust and offcuts when we finish.

Do you offer emergency call-outs?

Yes, 24/7. Call the emergency line and tell us the make, the symptoms and any error code, and we will advise on what to do next.

How soon will you get back to me?

We reply to enquiries the same working day. If it’s an emergency, ring the 24/7 line instead.

How much is air conditioning for one room?

For one room, a split system is typically £1,200–£2,200 + VAT. A two-room multi-split is typically £2,800–£4,500 + VAT, and three to five rooms £4,500–£8,500 + VAT, with supply, fitting, commissioning and F-Gas documentation included. The price is fixed before any work starts.

Can air conditioning heat my home as well?

Yes, most modern split systems run as heat pumps, so they can heat a room in winter. The Energy Saving Trust notes that air-to-air heat pumps are sometimes referred to as air conditioning. Some cooling-only models exist, so we confirm it for the model on your quote.

Does servicing affect my warranty?

Each manufacturer decides. Where servicing is a condition, a missed service could give the manufacturer grounds to refuse a claim, so we explain the terms on your quote.

Can I fit air conditioning or a heat pump myself?

Anything that involves the refrigerant needs an F-Gas qualified engineer from a certified company. That’s the law, not just our preference, and it also matters for the manufacturer’s warranty. We can quote for the whole job, from supply to commissioning.
