Postcombe commercial air conditioning
Our engineers work in Postcombe on commercial air conditioning. A look at the job first, a fixed-price quote and written records at the end.
- Commercial systems near the end of their life
- R410A systems getting dearer to top up
- F-gas leak checks and records that are overdue
How it works
Anything involving refrigerant is handled by F-Gas qualified engineers, as the law requires, and electrical work is done by us as NICEIC approved contractors. So on the day, you do not need a separate electrician for the electrical side. The work takes as long as the site and the system need, from a short install to a phased project planned around opening hours. Seeing the property in pictures first means the trip to Postcombe can be planned properly.
- You tell us about the building and what’s needed.
- A site survey confirms the heat load, the layout and the access.
- The options, cost and timing are set out in a fixed-price quote.
- We install around your hours, phased where needed.
- The system is commissioned and maintenance can be arranged.
Getting ready for the visit
- Let us know if the building has a permit or sign-in process
- Let us know where the consumer unit is
- Clear a path to the units and the space around them
Getting a quote
For a fixed-price quote, phone 07833 053749 and tell us about the property and what you need. A few photos make it quicker. You will hear back from us the same working day.

About our commercial air conditioning in Postcombe
Heating, cooling and fresh air often go together. Air conditioning systems can heat as well as cool, and we also install ventilation and MVHR for a joined-up system. If the problem is staff complaining about the temperature and F-gas leak checks and records that are overdue, we can sort it out.
If you run a village hall or similar building near Postcombe, heating and cooling that warms up fast suits a space used on and off, and it can heat as well as cool.
AirCon Doctor is an F-Gas certified company and NICEIC approved for electrical work, MCS certified for heat pumps and a Checkatrade member. Our engineers hold the F-gas qualifications needed to work on refrigerant.

What else we do in Postcombe
Postcombe: your questions answered
Will you come out to Postcombe?
Yes. Postcombe is within the area we cover across London and the South East. A few photos and the postcode are enough to get things started.
Is Postcombe in your area for commercial air conditioning?
We do: Postcombe falls inside our working area. Tell us a little about the job and we’ll take it from there.
What kind of air conditioning can you install in a business?
Splits, multi-splits, cassettes, ducted units and VRF from leading brands. We explain the options after a site survey.
Do you provide F-Gas records?
Yes. It’s the record a manufacturer or the next engineer will ask to see: a dated note of the work, with refrigerant details where they apply.
Will I need planning permission?
Not always. On a house, air-to-water heat pumps and, since 2025, air-to-air systems that heat as well as cool can be permitted development if they meet the conditions. Cooling-only units, listed buildings, flats and road-facing spots in conservation areas are where it normally comes up, and we tell you at the survey. This is general information, not legal advice.
Who has to arrange F-Gas leak checks?
The F-gas rules share it between the equipment’s operator and the engineers who work on it. The interval depends on the refrigerant charge, measured in tonnes of CO2 equivalent: at least yearly for 5 to under 50 tCO2e, and every 6 months for 50 to under 500 tCO2e.
Is there a survey before the work?
Yes. Photos often do the job for simple work, while larger systems and faults that need testing are seen on site.
What you can do yourself, and what needs us
On air conditioning, the filters in the indoor unit are typically the one part owners can clean, if the manual says so. They come out, get a gentle clean and go back only when they’re dry. For a heat pump, the main owner jobs are a clear outdoor unit and sensible control settings.
Owner care supports servicing; it doesn’t replace it. Clean filters and a clear outdoor unit help the system run as it should, but the refrigerant circuit, the electrics and the parts you cannot see still need an engineer at the interval the manufacturer recommends.
Why act early in Postcombe
TM44 inspections are required at least every 5 years for systems over 12 kW. Acting on the findings can improve how the system runs and we can do the work they recommend. Dealing with it now is typically simpler than a breakdown later.
No two properties are the same, so we price each one individually. The equipment, how we reach it, the route between units and the work needed all play a part.

When it’s something else
To be straight with you, there are a few things this work won’t fix:
- Building work beyond the installation itself
- Getting landlord or building owner approval
- Carrying out the TM44 inspection itself, which needs an accredited energy assessor
If in doubt, call us on 07833 053749 or drop us a line and we will say what we think before booking.
