Air con installers in Canada
Mitsubishi Electric, Daikin, Fujitsu, Panasonic, Toshiba, LG, Samsung, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and Hitachi are among the brands we fit. We recommend a model on the survey and explain why it suits the room, along with the manufacturer’s warranty terms on your quote. Modern air conditioning heats as well as cools: in heating mode they work as an air-to-air heat pump, which is why many owners use theirs all year.
Space outside is rarely the problem in a place like Canada. More often it’s the walls, the electrics and the length of the pipe run that need thinking about.
Each manufacturer sets its own warranty period. For example, Daikin’s standard warranty on split air conditioning is 2 years, and its longer extensions apply to its air-to-water units only. Whatever the brand, the manufacturer’s terms are explained on your quote.

What owners can safely do
On air conditioning, the filters in the indoor unit are typically the one part owners can clean, if the manual says so. With the power off, they lift out, can be vacuumed or rinsed and must be fully dry before they go back. On a heat pump, the equivalent is keeping the outdoor unit clear and checking the controls.
Good habits make our visits easier, not unnecessary. Simple care keeps the air moving through the system, but the inside of the units, the refrigerant and the electrics still need a qualified engineer.
When it’s something else
Air conditioning can’t fix everything, and we’d rather say so up front. It won’t put right:
- Central heating repairs
- An installation that needs consent nobody has given yet
- A lack of fresh air (most split systems recirculate room air rather than bringing fresh air in, which is a job for ventilation)
If you are not sure, just phone us on 07833 053749 or fill in the contact form and we’ll give you a straight answer before booking.
Where we work
- Ducted systems
- Air-to-air heat pumps
- Wall-mounted split systems
- Ceiling cassettes
- VRF systems
- Multi-split systems
What we do, step by step
On the day, we arrive at the time agreed with you and run through the plan before anything else. Dust sheets go down over floors and anything close to the work, and the electrics are made safe before any panel comes off. On site, it takes anything from a day for one room to several days for a multi-room or ducted system. Photos of the room and the outside of the property help us plan a visit to Canada.
- First comes a site survey, or photos and measurements for a straightforward job.
- We size the system for each room, then send a fixed-price quote with the units and where they go.
- The units go up and the pipework, cable and condensate drain are run neatly between them.
- The electrical supply is connected, and the refrigerant circuit is pressure tested and evacuated.
- Last comes the run-up: every mode checked, the controls explained and the paperwork left with you.
Getting ready for the visit
- Keep pets and children away from the work area
- Have the make and model of any existing unit to hand
- Move furniture away from the wall where we will be working

Canada: your questions answered
Do you cover Canada for air conditioning?
Yes. We work across London and the South East from our base in East Grinstead, and Canada is part of that. Just phone us on 07833 053749, or email if that’s easier with a few details.
Can I get a fixed-price quote for air conditioning in Canada?
The easiest way is to phone 07833 053749 or write to us at info@aircondoctor.co.uk with a few details and pictures. Where photos are not enough, a survey comes first and the fixed-price quote follows.
Can landlords and managing agents book you?
Yes. From one rented home to commercial buildings, the approach is the same: a look first, a fixed-price quote and written records.
How long does it take to fit air conditioning?
It takes a day for most single-room installations, with multi-split, ducted and cassette systems taking longer. The survey tells us how long your installation will need so there are no surprises.
Which type of system should I choose?
It depends on the rooms and the building. A split suits one room, a multi-split several, a ducted system hides the unit, and a cassette spreads air across larger rooms. We recommend one on the survey and explain why.
Does air conditioning work as heating?
Typically, yes. A heat pump moves heat from the outside air into the room, so it gives out more heat than the electricity it uses. If you want it to replace your main heating, ask about air-to-air heat pumps and the conditions for the Boiler Upgrade Scheme grant.
Can you set up regular servicing?
Yes. Send details of the systems and how they’re used, and we will suggest a schedule with a fixed price. That can include the leak checks the F-gas rules require for larger systems.

Air conditioning in Canada: local notes
About 45% of homes in Canada and the neighbourhoods around it have been built since 2000, according to the Valuation Office Agency’s council tax figures, and the 2021 Census found about 73% of households in detached or semi-detached houses. Newer homes are often easier to fit, with cavity walls and space in the loft for pipework. A side passage or back wall normally gives the outdoor unit a home, and more than one bedroom can be cooled through a multi-split.
About 2 miles north-west stands Landford Manor. Listed homes in any area need consent first, so tell us if yours is one. Starting with one room is common, and the outdoor unit can be chosen with more rooms in mind.
Canada is about 5 miles north-west of Totton, in Hampshire. Whatever kind of property you have in Canada, our engineers can help with air conditioning. We reply to enquiries the same working day, and there’s a 24/7 emergency line. Our list for Hampshire has 683 entries and Canada is among them. The nearest of our city pages is Guildford, around 48 miles from Canada.

What’s near Canada
In Canada, that means homes and buildings near Rockingham Arms. The nearest railway station is Romsey station, roughly 4.6 miles north-east of the centre. Well-known places in the area include Tatchbury Mount Hospital (3.5 miles south-east). Open spaces near Canada include Copythorne Common.
For landlords and property managers
For anyone managing more than one building, we can quote and plan the work across all of them. Each property gets its own records, so the files stay tidy.
Bigger systems bring extra duties: systems with an effective rated output over 12 kW need a TM44 inspection by an accredited energy assessor at least every 5 years. We arrange the inspection, get the system ready and put right anything it picks up.
A customer’s words
“Excellent service from start to finish. Two wall-mounted units installed in our home. Clean, tidy work: they protected all the floors and left no mess. The systems work brilliantly. Would highly recommend.”
