What a service looks like in Victoria
Victoria’s centre is no more than about a third of a mile from the Grosvenor Gardens Conservation Area. 26 conservation areas lie within a mile of central Victoria. Church of St Barnabas, listed at grade I, is one of roughly 310 protected buildings and structures in the half-mile around Victoria’s centre. Should a unit ever need replacing on a listed building or in a conservation area, ask us about consent first. The Valuation Office Agency’s council tax figures put about 48% of homes in the Victoria area before 1919, and about 92% of households live in flats, according to the last census (2021). In flats, outdoor units are often on balconies, roofs or high walls, so tell us how we reach yours. London outdoor units collect city dust and grime, so the outdoor coil gets particular attention on a service.
Businesses close to London Victoria station can book an early or late slot so the service doesn’t get in the way of trade. If you look after a school such as St Peter's Eaton Square CofE Primary School, servicing is easiest in the holidays.
Victoria is about 1 mile south of City of Westminster, in Greater London. Whether you’re in the middle of Victoria or further out, we cover air conditioning servicing, from small jobs to large ones. Victoria is one of 764 towns, villages and districts in Greater London we cover.
Not far from Victoria, a recent job of ours was on East Hill, Wandsworth (SW18), about 3 miles south-west: installing a Daikin wall-mounted unit in the open-plan living area.

Within a short drive, we also cover Shoreditch (4 miles north-east), Walthamstow (8 miles north-east), Hoxton (4 miles north-east) and Whitechapel (4 miles north-east).

We fit and service air conditioning in homes and premises around Westminster Cathedral Choir School, Wetherspoons pub and Green Park and the streets around them. A little further out are Baynard's Castle (2.2 miles north-east) and Harrods (0.9 miles west). For a walk, there’s Ludgate Hill and St. James's Park Lake.
About our air conditioning servicing in Victoria
Whether a leak check is required depends on how much refrigerant the system holds and which refrigerant it is. GOV.UK sets the frequency by the system’s tonnes of CO2 equivalent (tCO2e): at least every 12 months from 5 to under 50 tCO2e, and every 6 months from 50 to under 500 tCO2e. We work out where your system sits and check it accordingly. If the problem is systems that need a 6 or 12-monthly leak check and no service record for the last year or more, we can sort it out.
Commercial systems in a London area like Victoria may need F-gas leak checks as well as a service, depending on how much refrigerant it holds. We record the checks and tell you when the next one is due.
Refrigerant work is written up in the F-Gas records: what was done, the refrigerant type and any amount added or recovered. Keep the records with the manual and the warranty documents, ready for the next service or a warranty query.

Pricing air conditioning servicing in Victoria
Jobs vary more than people expect. What affects the quote:
- How easy the units are to reach
- The pipe route between the units
- What we find on the survey or diagnosis
Putting several jobs into one visit can make for a more efficient booking. Tell us about everything you’d like looked at and we will price it together.
What to send for a quote
The more you tell us, the more accurate the quote. When you get in touch, it helps to send:
- A few photos of the room and the wall the unit is on, or will go on
- Where the property is and what kind of building it is
- A close-up of the unit’s label showing the model number
Photos are enough for some jobs; others need a visit first. Multi-room systems, commercial buildings and anything with a long or hidden pipe route are normally surveyed first. Either way, the quote is fixed before anything goes ahead.

Why act early in Victoria
For most systems at or over 5 tCO2e, leak checks are a legal requirement, not a choice. Skipping a year leaves a gap in the records the rules expect you to keep and it’s far easier to stay on schedule. In a London building, getting the freeholder’s or agent’s agreement can take a while, so it’s worth starting early.
Typical ranges are on our prices page, but your price depends on the job in front of us. For a fixed-price quote, ring 07833 053749 or use the quote form, and we’ll talk you through it.

Victoria: your questions answered
How often do you service systems in Victoria?
A yearly visit is right for most households. Larger systems holding 5 tonnes CO2 equivalent or more also need a leak check at least every 12 months under the F-gas rules.
Do you cover Victoria for air conditioning servicing?
Yes, Victoria is within the area we cover. Tell us a little about the job and we will take it from there.
How do you keep the place clean during the work?
Protection goes down first: sheets over the floor and nearby furniture. Holes and fixings are agreed with you, and we clean up afterwards when we finish.
Why does F-Gas certification matter?
Companies working on equipment that contains F gas must be certified by an approved body, and the engineers need their own qualifications. It means the refrigerant in your system is handled legally.
What accreditations do you have?
As the law requires for refrigerant work, we’re an F-Gas certified company. NICEIC approval, MCS certification for heat pumps and Checkatrade membership sit alongside it.
Do you offer maintenance contracts?
Yes. Send details of the systems and how they’re used and we will propose a schedule and quote for it. Leak checks required by the F-gas rules can be built in for larger systems.
Do you work on all makes?
We install and work on the leading makes, including Mitsubishi Electric, Daikin, Fujitsu, Panasonic, Toshiba, LG, Samsung, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and Hitachi. Tell us the make and model and we’ll take it from there.
What the work involves, system by system
Fans and electrics
Controls and remote handsets are tested in each mode so you know it does what you ask.
Wall-mounted, ducted and cassette units
With a ducted system, the unit is hidden above the ceiling. Servicing means reaching the unit through an access hatch, so let us know where the hatch is.
How it works
Each visit runs to the same pattern: agree the plan on site, put the dust sheets down, do the work, test what we have done and explain it all to you. On site, the work takes around an hour for one indoor and one outdoor unit, with extra time for each additional indoor unit. If a freeholder or agent needs to agree the work in Victoria, we can send them the details.
- We book a time that suits you and confirm the price.
- Before any cleaning, the system is run so we can see how it behaves.
- Then the cleaning: filters, coils, fan and the drain line.
- Electrical and refrigerant checks follow, including a leak check if the rules require one.
- It’s run once more to confirm all is well, and the record is left with you.
How to prepare
- Clear a path to the units and the space around them
- Plan for pets to be kept clear during the visit
- Dig out any previous service or F-Gas records
How to get a quote
Quoting starts with a diagnosis, either on a site survey or, for simple jobs, from your pictures and details. After that, we send a fixed price so you know the cost before we begin.
