Air con servicing in Hardley
We cover Hardley for air conditioning servicing. Diagnosis first, a fixed price and proper paperwork when we finish.
- A unit showing a fault code
- Noisy fans or rattling from the outdoor unit
- Leak check records that need bringing up to date
The process
Anything involving refrigerant is handled by F-Gas qualified engineers, as the law requires, and electrical work is done by us as NICEIC approved contractors. On the day, both are in the same hands. On site, it takes anything from an hour for a simple split system to most of a day for a larger installation. If a lane or gateway near Hardley is tight for a van, let us know and we’ll plan for it.
- It begins with a few questions about the make, the rooms served and any symptoms.
- Inside, the filters, coil and drain tray of each indoor unit are cleaned.
- The outdoor unit is cleaned and checked, and debris cleared from around it.
- We test the electrics, the controls and how the refrigerant circuit is performing.
- Anything we find is explained, with a fixed price if it needs a repair.
How to prepare
- Mention any parking restrictions near the property
- Plan for pets to be kept clear during the visit
- Name a contact who can meet us at the agreed time

Air conditioning servicing in Hardley
We’re asked to service systems for many different reasons: a musty smell, weak cooling, water dripping indoors or simply because it’s been a while. Whatever the reason, the visit follows the same thorough checks. Typical jobs include iced-up coils or pipework and humming, rattling or squealing from the system, on wall-mounted split systems, ceiling cassettes and multi-split systems.
Most systems around Hardley need servicing once a year, best done before summer.
Nothing is signed off by word of mouth: commissioning details for an installation, a fault and repair note for a repair, or a record of the service. File it with the manual, because it helps with any later warranty question.

Common questions in Hardley
Do you cover smaller places like Hardley?
Yes, smaller places are covered as well as towns. We are based in East Grinstead and plan each visit so the job can be finished in one trip where possible.
How often do you service systems in Hardley?
For most homes, once a year. Check your manufacturer’s warranty terms too, as some of them make regular servicing a condition.
Are you F-Gas certified?
As the law requires for refrigerant work, we’re an F-Gas certified company. We’re also NICEIC approved, MCS certified for heat pumps and Checkatrade members.
Will you make a mess?
Protection goes down first: sheets over the floor and nearby furniture. Any drilling is agreed with you first, and we clear up the dust and offcuts before we leave.
Do you work on all makes?
We work with the leading brands, including Mitsubishi Electric, Daikin, Fujitsu, Panasonic, Toshiba, LG, Samsung, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and Hitachi. Tell us the make and model and we will take it from there.
How long does an air conditioning service take?
The visit takes anything from an hour for a simple split system to most of a day for a larger installation. If we find something that needs repairing, we explain it and price it before doing anything else, so call us on 07833 053749 or email us to arrange a time.
Will you regas my air conditioning on a service?
Not as a routine part of the service. The refrigerant circuit is sealed, so a system that is short of gas has a leak. Where the checks point to a leak, we explain the options for finding and fixing it.
Why act early in Hardley
Check your manufacturer’s warranty conditions before letting servicing lapse. If yours does, a gap in the service history could matter if a fault comes up later. We’ll explain what your brand’s terms say. An early booking makes the visit to Hardley easier to arrange.
Our prices page shows typical ranges, but your price depends on the job in front of us. For a fixed-price quote, phone us on 07833 053749 or drop us a line, and we will talk you through it.

Let and managed properties
Under the GB F-gas rules, responsibility for leak checks is shared between whoever operates the equipment and the engineers who work on it. In a let or managed building, it’s worth agreeing who that operator is and we’re happy to deal with whoever it is.
For anyone managing more than one building, we can quote and plan the work across all of them. Every address has its own paperwork, so each one has its own history.

“Very professional from the initial survey through to installation. The engineer explained everything clearly and the quote was exactly what we paid. Would not hesitate to recommend AirCon Doctor.”
