Commercial air conditioning in Weedon, Buckinghamshire
Our engineers work in Weedon on design, installation, servicing and repair of air conditioning for offices, shops, hospitality and public buildings. A look at the job first, a fixed-price quote and written records at the end.
- Systems that need out-of-hours or phased installation
- Older systems on refrigerants that are getting scarcer
- F-gas leak checks and records that are overdue
Looking after it afterwards
Looking after it is simple, and it helps at the next service:
- Keep outdoor units clear of rubbish and stored goods
- Plan regular servicing with a contract
- Review older R410A systems before they need major repairs
For systems over 12 kW, keep track of the 5-yearly TM44 inspection. We can prepare the system and act on the report.
Plan replacements before old systems fail, particularly where they use R410A.
Commercial air conditioning for homes and businesses in Weedon
Commercial systems are commercial systems priced after survey. We look at the building, the people in it, the equipment and the hours it’s used, then send a fixed-price quote. So you know exactly what you are getting and what it costs. If you’re dealing with changes of use that need a new layout and installs that must fit around trading hours, we can sort it out.
For a business near Weedon, outdoor units normally have room at the back of the building, out of sight and away from neighbours.
Some manufacturers make regular servicing by a qualified engineer a condition of their warranty. Where yours does, a regular service with us keeps that side in order, and every service is written up.

What else we do in Weedon
Cooling for Weedon businesses
There are about 4 care homes, nurseries and hospitals within about 1.5 miles of central Weedon, according to the Food Standards Agency’s register. Kitchens and dining rooms gain heat quickly, and hotels need quiet units in guest rooms, so each is designed for its use.
For a surgery or clinic in the Tindal Centre area, a planned maintenance contract keeps the system clean and its records up to date. For a school like Old School Room Chapel, air conditioning work is best done out of term.
Weedon is about 3 miles north of Aylesbury, in Buckinghamshire. Properties in Weedon get the same service as everywhere we cover: diagnosis first, a fixed price and proper paperwork when we have finished. Our Buckinghamshire coverage runs to 263 places, Weedon among them. London, roughly 40 miles off, has its own page on this site.
Our engineers work on High Street, Newville and Northcroft and the roads around them. All of HP22 is covered. Close to Weedon, our area also takes in Hardwick (1 mile north-west), Watermead (2 miles south), Whitchurch (2 miles north-west), Quarrendon Estate (2 miles south) and Elmhurst (2 miles south). We also work in nearby towns such as Aylesbury (3 miles south), Chesham (13 miles south-east), Buckingham (12 miles north-west) and Southcourt (4 miles south).
Local landmarks in Weedon
Locally, jobs take us to houses, flats and workplaces close to The Bell pub and the streets around them. For rail, the closest station is Aylesbury Vale Parkway station, about 2.5 miles south-west of the centre. Nearby you’ll also find Bolbec Castle (1.8 miles north-west) and Tindal Centre (2.4 miles south).
Rented and managed buildings
Larger air conditioning systems in buildings need more than servicing: systems with an effective rated output over 12 kW need a TM44 inspection by an accredited energy assessor at least every 5 years. We can arrange it, prepare the system for it and fix what it finds.
Running several properties is easier with one contractor. Our area covers Greater London and the South East, so work at different addresses can be planned together and kept to a regular schedule.
How it works
Each visit follows the same order: check the plan with you, protect the area, carry out the job, check the system and talk you through it. The visit itself takes as long as the site and the system need, from a short install to a phased project planned around opening hours. Visits to Weedon are agreed with you in advance and planned so the job can be finished in one trip where possible.
- First comes a survey, looking at the building and how it’s occupied.
- We recommend a system and send a fixed-price quote.
- The programme is agreed, including any out-of-hours or phased work.
- The system is installed, wired and connected to its controls.
- We commission the system and hand over the F-gas records and controls.
Getting ready for the visit
- Have the make and model of any existing unit to hand
- Move furniture away from the wall where we’ll be working
- Keep pets out of the rooms we are working in
Get a fixed-price quote
Our prices page gives typical ranges, but your quote is based on your job, because every property is different. After a look at the job, by photos or a survey, the price is fixed. To start, call 07833 053749, or email if that’s easier.
Advice
Questions from Weedon
Do I need planning permission for air conditioning in Weedon?
There’s no single answer: the building and the outdoor unit position decide it. There’s a conservation area, the Weedon Conservation Area, close to central Weedon. Since 2025, an air-to-air heat pump on a house can count as permitted development if it meets the conditions and is not used only for cooling. Listed buildings still need consent, and in a conservation area a road-facing wall or roof isn’t allowed under those rules. If there’s any doubt, we ask the local planning authority (for Weedon, typically Buckinghamshire council).
Is Weedon within the area you cover?
Yes, smaller places are covered as well as towns. We’re based in East Grinstead and plan each visit so the job can be finished in one trip where possible.
Who is responsible for leak checks?
Responsibility is shared between the operator, normally whoever owns or controls the equipment, and the service technicians. The interval depends on the refrigerant charge, measured in tonnes of CO2 equivalent: at least every 12 months from 5 tCO2e, and every 6 months from 50 tCO2e.
Can I do the refrigerant work myself?
Anything that involves the refrigerant needs an F-Gas qualified engineer from a certified company. That’s the law, not just our preference, and manufacturers expect it for their warranty too. We can quote for the whole job, from supply to commissioning.
What warranty do I get?
It’s the manufacturer’s, and the terms are theirs. Some terms depend on regular servicing by a qualified engineer, so keep your service records.
Why use an F-Gas certified company?
Companies working on equipment that contains F gas must be certified by an approved body, and the engineers need their own qualifications. It’s how you know the refrigerant is being handled legally and safely.
Does my building need a TM44 inspection?
Where the air conditioning is over 12 kW, an inspection is needed at least every 5 years. An accredited energy assessor carries it out and we can help before and after.
Why act early in Weedon
A system that can’t cope on the hottest days affects everyone in the building. It’s far easier to plan new work in the cooler months than to scramble when it’s hot. Waiting rarely makes an air conditioning problem smaller.
What you pay depends on the type of system and how many units are involved, the access and the parts and time the job needs. You get a fixed price before work begins, so you know where you stand.

From one of our customers
“Office air con broke down in the July heatwave. Called at 8am, engineer was here by noon and fixed within 2 hours. Brilliant emergency response. They now hold the service contract for the whole building.”
