Air con servicing in Staplers
F-Gas certified and NICEIC approved, we cover Staplers for air conditioning servicing. A fixed price before work begins, and a 24/7 emergency line.

- Humming, rattling or squealing from the system
About our air conditioning servicing in Staplers
Servicing does not mean topping up refrigerant. The refrigerant circuit is sealed, so a system that is short of gas has a leak somewhere. Where the checks suggest gas has been lost, the right step is to find the leak, and we’ll set out how. The work covers air-to-air heat pumps, VRF systems and ceiling cassettes, and common reasons people get in touch are new noises from the indoor or outdoor unit and leak check records that need bringing up to date.
We book services in Staplers at a time that suits you, and most single systems take an hour or two.
Whatever the visit, you get a written record: commissioning details and F-Gas records for a new system, a note of the fault and the fix for a repair, or a service record. Keep it with the system’s paperwork so it’s to hand next time.

FAQs for Staplers
Is Staplers within the area you cover?
Yes, smaller places are covered as well as towns. A few photos and the postcode are enough to get things started.
Does my air con in Staplers need a yearly service?
A yearly visit is right for most households. Some manufacturers’ warranty terms ask for regular servicing, so it’s worth keeping the records.
Which manufacturers do you install and repair?
We install and work on the leading makes, from Mitsubishi Electric, Daikin and Fujitsu to Panasonic, Toshiba, LG, Samsung, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and Hitachi. Tell us the make and model and we’ll take it from there.
Whose job is it to check the system for leaks?
Responsibility is shared between the operator, typically whoever owns or controls the equipment, and the service technicians. The interval depends on the refrigerant charge, measured in tonnes of CO2 equivalent: at least every 12 months from 5 tCO2e, and every 6 months from 50 tCO2e.
Do you do service contracts for air con?
Yes. With a contract, the frequency and the scope of each visit are written down with the price fixed when you accept the quote. It suits anyone who would rather not track service dates.
Why use an F-Gas certified company?
F-Gas certification shows a company is approved to work on equipment containing fluorinated gases, such as the refrigerant in air conditioning and heat pumps. In Great Britain, that certification is a legal requirement, not an optional extra, and we hold it.
Can I do the refrigerant work myself?
The refrigerant side has to be done by a qualified engineer working for an F-Gas certified company. That is a legal requirement, and manufacturers expect it for their warranty too. We are happy to quote for the full job, supply to commissioning.
What happens on the day
If the system has to be off for part of the visit, we tell you before we start, so you can plan around it. For businesses, we can usually work room by room or zone by zone. On site, it takes around an hour for one indoor and one outdoor unit, with extra time for each additional indoor unit. We load the van from the survey notes so the work in Staplers can be done in one go where possible.
- First we take the details: brand, model if you have it, how many indoor units and anything that is been bothering you.
- The system is run and checked before anything is opened up.
- Filters, coils and the condensate drain are cleaned and cleared.
- Electrical connections, controls and refrigerant performance are checked, with an F-gas leak check where the system requires one.
- You get a service record, with anything that needs attention explained.
Getting ready for the visit
- Clear access to the fuse board
- Make sure we can reach the outdoor unit, or where it will go
- Clear the space around the indoor unit, or where it will go
Getting a quote
VAT is set out clearly on every quote, and the rate that applies to your job is stated. Homes, businesses and different kinds of work can be treated differently for VAT, so we confirm it on the quote. To get one, call 07833 053749.

Rented and managed buildings
Where a tenant occupies the property but the landlord owns the system, it’s worth checking the agreement for who looks after the system. We are happy to deal with either side, and the paperwork can go to both.
We regularly work with managing agents. Send the address, what’s needed and how access works, and we will send a fixed-price quote.

What we’re called out for in Staplers
Each indoor unit makes water when it cools, and that water needs a clear route out. Debris in the tray or a sticky pump can stop it draining and the result is drips from the indoor unit.
Most people get in touch when they notice one of these:
- A system that struggles to cool on warm days
- Frost or ice on the refrigerant pipes
- A service that’s overdue
Most homes book one service a year; busy offices and shops may want more.

Keeping systems in Staplers running
The middle of Staplers is part of a conservation area. Listed buildings are part of the picture here: about 3 within half a mile of the centre, such as Bellcroft House (grade II*). We keep it in mind in case a new outdoor unit is ever needed, as protected buildings can need consent for that. Census 2021 figures found about 61% of households in detached or semi-detached houses. Tell us where your outdoor unit is and how to reach it, so we can plan the visit.
For a school like Barton Primary School, maintenance visits can be booked out of term.
