How we handle air conditioning servicing in Egypt
Every hour, an indoor unit draws the room’s air through its filter and over its coil again and again. Whatever is in the air, from dust to pet hair, collects on the filter and coil. A service clears it away, so the system can move air properly and the drain can do its job. The work covers VRF systems, multi-split systems and ceiling cassettes, and common reasons people get in touch are systems that haven’t been serviced for a while and a unit showing a fault code.
Most systems around Egypt need servicing once a year, ideally in spring before the warm weather.
Warranty on the equipment is the manufacturer’s own, on the manufacturer’s terms, and we set them out on your quote. Each brand sets its own conditions, and we’re happy to talk you through them.

Questions from Egypt
Will you come out to Egypt?
Yes. Egypt is within the area we cover across London and the South East. Visits to smaller places are planned so the engineer arrives with what the job needs.
Do you cover Egypt for air conditioning servicing?
Yes, Egypt is within the area we cover. To start, ring us on 07833 053749 or email us with a few photos.
Can you look at a system you didn’t fit?
Yes. We start with a proper look and tell you honestly what we find, including anything about the original installation that needs putting right. Any work is priced before it goes ahead.
Will I get records for the system?
Yes. It’s your proof of what was done: a dated note of the work, with refrigerant details where they apply.
Whose job is it to check the system for leaks?
The F-gas rules share it between the equipment’s operator and the engineers who work on it. The interval depends on the refrigerant charge, measured in tonnes of CO2 equivalent: at least every 12 months from 5 tCO2e, and every 6 months from 50 tCO2e.
Is a regas part of an air conditioning service?
Refrigerant is only added after the leak that caused the loss has been dealt with. Topping up without finding the leak means the gas escapes again and that’s money wasted.
Do you work on all makes?
We install and work on the leading makes, from Mitsubishi Electric, Daikin and Fujitsu to Panasonic, Toshiba, LG, Samsung, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and Hitachi. Tell us the make and model and we will take it from there.
What the work involves, system by system
Maintenance contracts
For businesses, a contract keeps servicing and any required leak checks on schedule, with records kept for each visit.
Fans and electrics
We look at the wiring and terminals for anything loose or discoloured. Loose connections can cause faults that come and go, so this matters.
Keeping the system healthy
To keep the system working properly:
- Check the condensate pipe outside is not blocked or crushed
- Report drips, smells or noises early
- Diary the next service before this one is forgotten
After the service, you get a record of what was done, listing the work, the checks and any recommendations. Keep it with the manufacturer’s paperwork so the service history is in one place.
Act on the early signs. A new noise, a faint smell or a drip is easier to deal with early than after a breakdown.
Servicing in Egypt: local notes
About 75% of households live in detached or semi-detached houses, according to the 2021 Census. Access to the outdoor unit is the one detail that most changes how a visit is planned. 2 conservation areas lie within a mile of central Egypt. On the National Heritage List, around 9 entries fall within 0.5 miles of the middle of Egypt; Norton Manor Near Sutton Scotney (grade II*) is one. For most visits that makes no difference. It only comes up when an outdoor unit has to be replaced on a protected building.
A musty smell from the indoor unit is often a sign it needs a service. Booking before the first hot spell means the system is ready when you need it.

The process
Refrigerant work is done by qualified engineers working for an F-Gas certified company, and electrical work is done by us as NICEIC approved contractors. So on the day, you do not need a separate electrician for the electrical side. On site, it takes around an hour for one indoor and one outdoor unit, with extra time for each additional indoor unit. Photos of the room and the outside of the property help us plan a visit to Egypt.
- A date is fixed and the service price confirmed in advance.
- We switch the system on and check it in operation.
- Filters, coils, fans and drains are cleaned and cleared.
- The electrics, controls and refrigerant performance are checked, with a leak check where required.
- A final test run follows, then you get the service record.
Preparing for the visit
- Clear the space around the indoor unit, or where it will go
- Keep pets and children away from the work area
- Find the manual or the paperwork for the system, if you have it
