Air conditioning in Bowling Alley and nearby

Air conditioning in Bowling Alley, done properly

Wall-mounted, multi-split, ducted and cassette systems are all part of what we install, with VRF for larger buildings. Which one suits you depends on the space, the building and how much of the unit you want to see, and we explain the options on the survey. Whether you call it air con, air conditioning or an air-to-air heat pump, in Bowling Alley it means the same thing to us: the right unit in the right place, fitted and commissioned properly.

Where the outdoor unit goes decides how quiet and tidy the job is: airflow, noise towards neighbours, pipe length and access for servicing all count.

Around Bowling Alley, many people choose a system that heats as well as cools, which suits rooms the main heating does not reach well, such as a garden room or loft.

Some manufacturers make regular servicing by a qualified engineer a condition of their warranty. If that applies to your system, booking the service on time keeps the record straight, and every service is written up.

System by system

Multi-split systems

You can mix indoor unit types on many multi-split systems, choosing what suits each room, depending on the model. We plan the mix on the survey.

Electrical supply

A dedicated circuit is normally needed. We are NICEIC approved, so we fit and certify the circuit ourselves and that covers the Part P side.

Air conditioning around Bowling Alley

Bowling Alley’s centre falls inside a designated conservation area. Listed buildings are part of the picture here: about 8 within half a mile of the centre, such as Trigg's Farmhouse (grade II). If your property is listed or sits inside a conservation area, expect us to raise planning at the survey and to speak to Hart council, normally the planning authority here where it’s needed. About 37% of homes in and around Bowling Alley have been built since 2000, according to the Valuation Office Agency’s council tax figures, and the last census (2021) found about 64% of households in detached or semi-detached houses. Newer homes normally have cavity walls and loft space that make pipe runs easier, though some estates have planning conditions or covenants worth checking. With homes like that, finding a sensible outdoor unit position is rarely hard, and a multi-split lets two or more rooms run off it.

Farnham Castle (roughly 3.1 miles south-east) shows the area has its share of heritage. A listed home needs consent before an outdoor unit or pipework goes on. If your home is in one of the older streets near Church of All Saints, it’s worth checking whether it’s listed or in a conservation area before an install.

Bowling Alley is about 2 miles south-west of Fleet, in Surrey. From the centre of Bowling Alley to the outskirts, our engineers cover air conditioning, from a single room to a whole building. In Surrey alone we list 395 places and Bowling Alley is among them. Guildford, roughly 13 miles off, has its own page on this site.

Not far from Bowling Alley, a recent job of ours was on Castle Street, Farnham (GU9), about 4 miles south-east: installing a Fujitsu multi-split system serving three offices and a client meeting room. See the job

Jobs in GU10 are looked at, quoted and booked the same way as anywhere else. Neighbouring places we cover include Mill Lane (1 mile north-west), Crondall (1 mile south), Redlands (1 mile south-east), Warren Corner (1 mile east) and Ewshot (1 mile east). Further out, we also cover Guildford (13 miles east), Woking (14 miles east), Camberley (9 miles north-east) and Farnham (4 miles south-east).

Landlords, agents and facilities managers

Managing agents often deal with us directly. Tell us the property, the work and the access arrangements and we’ll come back with a fixed-price quote.

Records are where property maintenance often slips. Each visit produces a dated record, with F-Gas records wherever refrigerant work is involved, so you can show what was done and when.

What we do, step by step

We keep the work area tidy as we go, with dust sheets down and offcuts and packaging cleared up. Any holes, fixings or cable routes are agreed with you before we drill. On site, it takes a day or more, depending on the number of rooms, the pipe routes and the access. A note on how to find the property and where to park makes a visit to Bowling Alley easier.

  1. First the diagnosis: a survey of the rooms, the walls, the outside and the electrics.
  2. Then the prescription: the right system and size for each room, on a fixed-price quote.
  3. The treatment: units fitted, pipework and drain routed, and the electrics installed.
  4. Before it runs, the pipework is proved tight and put under vacuum.
  5. The sign-off: commissioning, a walk through the controls, and the F-Gas records and warranty details.

How to prepare

  • Clear the space around the indoor unit, or where it will go
  • Mention any roof access, ladders or high-level work
  • Tell us about parking and loading

Getting a quote

Photos are the fastest route to a quote: the room or the existing unit, the outside wall or roof where the outdoor unit sits or would go, and the label on any existing unit. Add the address and what you’d like done, and simple jobs can often be priced without a visit.

Bowling Alley questions

Do you cover smaller places like Bowling Alley?

Yes. Bowling Alley is within the area we cover across London and the South East. We are based in East Grinstead and plan each visit so the job can be finished in one trip where possible.

Is Bowling Alley in your area for air conditioning?

We do: Bowling Alley falls inside our working area. Get in touch with the details and we reply the same working day.

Can I do any of the installation myself?

Not the refrigerant work. The F-gas rules require certified companies and qualified engineers for it, and a new circuit is notifiable under Part P unless a registered electrician, such as a NICEIC approved contractor, does it.

Where will you put the outdoor unit?

We agree it with you on the survey. It must have clear airflow and space for servicing, and walls or roofs facing a road can raise planning questions. We will tell you what to check before we fit it.

How soon will you get back to me?

We reply to enquiries the same working day. If it’s an emergency, ring the 24/7 line instead.

Do I need a new electrical circuit?

Normally, yes. The fuse board is checked on the survey, and any electrical work goes on the quote, and our NICEIC approval covers the installation and certificate.

Do you look at the job first?

Yes. For simple jobs, photos and a few details can be enough, while bigger systems and repairs that need testing get a visit.

Leave it or put it right?

New systems now use lower-impact refrigerants. Since 2025, new single split systems with less than 3 kg of refrigerant can’t use F gases with a GWP above 750, which is why R32, with a GWP of 675, is now common. R410A, used in many older systems, has a GWP of 2088. Dealing with it now is usually simpler than a breakdown later.

Putting the work off seldom saves money. Small problems, from blocked filters to slow leaks, tend to get worse, and a struggling system uses more electricity to do less. If you’re unsure, call us on 07833 053749 or use the quote form and we’ll give you an honest view and a fixed price.
