Why deal with it now?
A service can find a worn part or a loose connection while the system is still running. Left alone, the same fault tends to show itself when you most need the system. Planning ahead for a job in Mead End means we can bring everything needed.
Typical ranges are on our prices page, but your price depends on the job in front of us. Call for a fixed-price quote, and we will talk you through it.

Air conditioning servicing for homes and businesses in Mead End
A manufacturer’s warranty can come with conditions, and regular servicing may be one of them. Each brand sets its own terms and we are happy to go through them with you. Our service record shows the work was done. If you are dealing with a musty or damp smell when the unit starts and humming, rattling or squealing from the system, we can sort it out.
Around Mead End, outdoor units sit close to gardens and greenery, so leaves, seeds and cobwebs collect on the coil. A yearly service clears them.
Refrigerant work is written up in the F-Gas records: what was done, the refrigerant type and any amount added or recovered. Keep the records with the manual and the warranty documents, ready for the next service or a warranty query.

How the visit works
Protection comes first: dust sheets over floors and furniture near the work and nothing is moved without asking you. After that, anything electrical is made safe and we start. The work on site takes around an hour for one indoor and one outdoor unit, with extra time for each additional indoor unit, and we tidy up before we leave. Work in Mead End is booked in advance at a time that suits you.
- First, we agree a time and confirm the cost of the service.
- We switch the system on and check it in operation.
- Then the cleaning: filters, coils, fan and the drain line.
- The electrics, controls and refrigerant performance are checked, with a leak check where required.
- It’s run once more to confirm all is well, and the record is left with you.
Getting ready for the visit
- Dig out any previous service or F-Gas records
- Unlock any gate, garage or side passage we need
- Make sure someone can let us in at the agreed time

When something else is needed
Air conditioning servicing can’t fix everything, and we’d rather say so up front. It does not solve:
- Pipework or drainage that was badly installed in the first place
- A unit that was undersized when it was chosen
- A system short of gas because of a leak

Questions from Mead End
Is Mead End in your area for air conditioning servicing?
We do: Mead End falls inside our working area. To start, phone us on 07833 053749, or email if that’s easier with a few photos.
Does my air con in Mead End need a yearly service?
For most homes, once a year. Business systems may also need F-gas leak checks, at least every 12 months from 5 tonnes CO2 equivalent.
What’s included in an air conditioning service?
The service covers the indoor units and the outdoor unit: filters, coils, drains and fans, then the electrics, the controls and how the refrigerant circuit is performing. A service record follows.
Will you work on another installer’s system?
Yes. We look at it first and tell you what we find, including anything about the original installation that needs putting right. Any work is priced before it goes ahead.
Do I need a service to keep the manufacturer’s warranty?
The answer is in your manufacturer’s warranty conditions. If servicing is required, a regular service record is the evidence and we will help you check what applies.
Are you F-Gas certified?
We hold F-Gas company certification, which the law requires for any business working on refrigerant. NICEIC approval, MCS certification for heat pumps and Checkatrade membership sit alongside it.
When will I hear back?
The same working day. Then we agree a date that works for you, with a fixed price before work starts.
Pricing air conditioning servicing in Mead End
Before we fix a price, we need to know a few things. We look at:
- What kind of system it is
- The distance and route between the indoor and outdoor units
- The size of the job
Homes, offices, shops and public buildings are all priced the same way: what’s needed, how we reach it, the parts and the labour. Ask for a fixed-price quote and we’ll go through it with you.
What to send for a quote
Photos and a few facts are often enough to price a simple job. Send what you can of the following:
- The rating plate or label on any existing unit
- The remote or wall controller showing any error
- The address and the type of property
The quickest way to a quote is to send pictures: the inside and outside of the property where the work is, plus the rating plate of any unit already there. Tell us the address and what you need, and many jobs can be priced from that.
