Air conditioning repair in North Stoneham
Diagnosis call-outs start from £75 + VAT. Once we know the cause, you get a fixed price for the repair before any work goes ahead and nothing goes ahead without your say-so. The work covers multi-split systems, ceiling cassettes and VRF systems, and the jobs we see most are a unit blowing warm air and a noisy indoor or outdoor unit.
In a village like North Stoneham, most air conditioning we repair is in homes, garden rooms and the occasional pub or village business. Describe the fault and send a photo of the unit’s label so we can plan the visit.
Looking after a system is mostly common sense: clear space around the outdoor unit, the cleaning the manual describes and a service at the recommended interval. That also helps where the warranty terms ask for regular servicing.

FAQs for North Stoneham
Is there an emergency air con repair line for North Stoneham?
Yes: ring the emergency line, day or night, from anywhere in North Stoneham. Say what the system is doing and whether it shows a code, and we will advise on the next step.
Can you do air conditioning repair in North Stoneham?
Yes, North Stoneham is within the area we cover. Tell us a little about the job and we will take it from there.
Do you offer maintenance contracts?
Yes. Maintenance contracts are part of what we do, with visits at the interval your system and the manufacturer need. Each visit is written up, with F-Gas records where refrigerant work is involved.
How quickly will you reply?
On the same working day you contact us. Then we agree a date that works for you, and you get a fixed price before any work goes ahead.
My air con is showing an error code. What should I do?
Each manufacturer uses its own codes, and one code can have more than one cause. Send us a photo of the display with the make and model, and we will diagnose the fault on site.
What accreditations do you have?
AirCon Doctor is an F-Gas certified company, NICEIC approved for electrical work and MCS certified for heat pumps. We’re members of Checkatrade too.
How long does the work take?
It depends on the job, but most of the time it takes an hour or two to diagnose most faults, with the repair time depending on what we find. We’ll confirm it with the quote.
What air conditioning repair cannot fix
We’d rather tell you now than sell you work that won’t help, so these are the things it will not cover:
- A system that was undersized for the room in the first place (that needs a bigger system, not a repair)
- A supply fault outside the property
- An old system with obsolete parts
If you are not sure, just phone 07833 053749 or send an email and we will give you a straight answer before you book.

Fixed-price quotes for air conditioning repair in North Stoneham
Jobs vary more than people expect. The main factors:
- What state the existing equipment is in
- Whether it’s a simple split or a larger system
- One-off work versus a regular service cycle
A single unit or a whole estate, we price it on the same basis: the work involved, the access and the equipment. The price is fixed before any work starts, and the quote sets out the VAT.
Asking for a quote
Photos and a few facts are often enough to price a simple job. Send what you can of the following:
- Where the outdoor unit is, or where you’d like it
- The make and model of the system, from the label
- Any error code or flashing light on the display
Our prices page gives typical ranges, but your quote is based on your job, because every property is different. Once we’ve looked at the job, from pictures or on a survey, you get a fixed price. To start, phone 07833 053749 or email us.

How it works
Our engineers arrive at the time agreed with you and run through the plan before anything else. Dust sheets go down over floors and anything close to the work, and the electrics are made safe before any panel comes off. On site, it takes a single visit for many faults, while some repairs need a second visit once parts arrive. A few pictures help us make the most of a visit to North Stoneham.
- Tell us the make, the symptoms and any error code, and send a photo of the display if you can.
- We diagnose on site, checking the codes, electrics, airflow, drain and refrigerant pressures.
- Once the cause is found, we explain it and fix the price for the repair.
- We repair the fault, and where refrigerant is involved, the leak is found and fixed before recharging.
- We run the system, check it’s working properly and note anything else that needs attention.
Before we arrive
- Unlock any gate, garage or side passage we need
- Clear access to the fuse board
- Tell us about parking and loading

VAT is set out clearly on every quote, with the rate that applies to your job. VAT can differ between homes and businesses and between kinds of work, so we confirm it in writing rather than guess. For a fixed-price quote, phone us on 07833 053749.
