About air conditioning in TN39
We install leading brands, including Mitsubishi Electric, Daikin, Fujitsu, Panasonic, Toshiba, LG, Samsung, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and Hitachi. We recommend a model on the survey and explain why it suits the room, along with the manufacturer’s warranty terms on your quote. The work covers wall-mounted split systems, multi-split systems and VRF systems, and people most often call us about a loft room or top floor that bakes in summer and a system on old refrigerant that’s due for replacement.
Our engineers bring the tools, gauges and access equipment the job needs. All we ask is clear access to the units, or to where they’ll go, and to the consumer unit. The visit takes a day or more, depending on the number of rooms, the pipe routes and the access.
- Diagnosis comes first, with a survey of the rooms, outside space and fuse board.
- Then the prescription: the right system and size for each room, on a fixed-price quote.
- Then the work: units up, pipes and drain run, and a new circuit where necessary.
- Testing: the circuit is pressure tested and evacuated before the refrigerant is released.
- Finally, the clean bill of health: commissioning, the controls explained and your paperwork handed over.
What you’ll pay
Typical ranges are on our prices page, but each job is priced on what it involves. For a fixed-price quote, call 07833 053749 or drop us a line, and we will explain what it covers.

Get a fixed-price quote
Photos are enough for some jobs; others need a visit first. Bigger systems, commercial sites and awkward pipe routes are normally surveyed on site. Either way, you get a fixed price before any work is booked.

Where we install in TN39
Our air conditioning work across TN39 takes in places such as Bexhill-on-Sea, Sidley and Lunsford's Cross and the smaller places around them. Every place on our TN39 list (4 in all) is covered.
An F-Gas certified company does the refrigerant side, while NICEIC approval covers the electrical work. Near the coast in TN39, outdoor units last longer with shelter from sea wind and a yearly service, and some manufacturers offer corrosion-protected coils.
Bexhill-on-Sea: Plenty of people near Bexhill station split the week between the train and a spare room, and that spare room is often the first to get a unit. Most people start with the room that gets hottest, then add more rooms on a multi-split if needed.
When it’s something else
We will always give you a straight diagnosis, so here’s what this work cannot put right:
- Stuffy rooms that need fresh air rather than cooling
- Building damp that has a structural cause
- Gas boiler or central heating faults (we do not work on gas boilers)
What owners can safely do
For air conditioning, cleaning the indoor unit’s filters is the main job owners can do where the manufacturer’s manual explains how. They come out, get a gentle clean and go back only when they’re dry. For a heat pump, the main owner jobs are a clear outdoor unit and sensible control settings.
Owner care supports servicing; it doesn’t replace it. Simple care keeps the air moving through the system, but the refrigerant circuit, the electrics and the parts you cannot see still need an engineer at the interval the manufacturer recommends.
Let and managed properties
For anyone managing more than one building, we can plan visits across the portfolio and price them together. Every address has its own paperwork, so the files stay tidy.
Records are where property maintenance often slips. Each visit is written up, plus the F-Gas records where refrigerant is involved, ready for a tenant, a buyer or an inspection.
Looking after it afterwards
Looking after it is simple, and it helps at the next service:
- Keep the handover documents somewhere safe
- Use moderate settings for comfort and economy
- Keep the indoor unit’s filters clean
- Report drips, noises or error codes straight away
If anything is not right after we have gone, call us on the same number. Let us know what’s happening and any error code and we’ll help you sort it out.
Book an annual service. A service cleans what you can’t reach and picks up faults before they stop the system and keeps the warranty paperwork right where servicing is a condition.
Questions from TN39
Can I have air conditioning in a flat?
It depends on the building and the lease. Balconies, flat roofs and rear walls can all work, subject to consent, and we check the options on the survey. This is general information, not legal advice.
Do you offer emergency call-outs?
Yes. For anything urgent, such as a system failing in a server room or water leaking from a unit, ring our 24/7 line and we’ll tell you what to do first.
Will I get records for the system?
Yes, on every job. A new system comes with commissioning details, F-Gas records and the manufacturer’s warranty information, and repairs and services get a record of the work.
Do you work on systems someone else installed?
Yes. We work on systems fitted by other installers as well as our own from all the leading brands. Send us the make and model, and any records you have.
Which type of system should I choose?
It depends on the rooms and the building. A split suits one room, a multi-split several, a ducted system hides the unit, and a cassette spreads air across larger rooms. The survey ends with a recommendation and the reasons.
Is the equipment covered by a warranty?
The manufacturer’s warranty, on the manufacturer’s terms. Terms differ by brand, and we set them out on your quote.
Is there a survey before the work?
Yes, every time. Diagnosis comes before treatment: the survey tells us what the job needs and how to do it, and the quote is based on that.
