Air conditioning in EN7: how it works

Any installation we do in EN7 follows the same process as everywhere else we work: a site survey, or pictures for simple jobs, then a fixed-price quote, the installation, commissioning and F-Gas records. You know the price before any work starts and the paperwork is in your hands when we finish. We keep the work area tidy as we go, with sheets down and mess cleared as we go. Any holes, fixings or cable routes are agreed with you before we drill. On site, it takes a day or more, depending on the number of rooms, the pipe routes and the access.

1. We start by looking at the rooms, the walls and where the outdoor unit can go.
2. Cooling loads are worked out room by room, and the written price names the make, the model and every position.
3. Brackets go on, the units are hung and the refrigerant lines, cable and drain are routed between them.
4. Power is wired in, the joints are proved leak-tight under pressure and a vacuum pump draws out air and moisture.
5. We commission the system, show you the controls and leave the F-Gas records and the manufacturer’s warranty details.
