Commercial Air Conditioning in Highmoor
Looking for commercial air conditioning in Highmoor? We diagnose first, fix the price and book the work around you, finishing with proper records.
- Buildings that cannot close for the work
- Planning ahead for the HFC phase-down
- Leak check schedules that have slipped
Keeping the system healthy
To keep the system working properly:
- Book a maintenance contract to keep servicing on schedule
- Track when the next TM44 inspection is due
- Keep F-gas records together and up to date
Equipment warranties come from the manufacturer. We go through the manufacturer’s conditions with you and you will know what they ask for.
Make sure filters are maintained and outdoor units have space. Blocked filters and obstructed outdoor units make the system work harder.
Commercial air conditioning in Highmoor, done properly
Every commercial job is commercial systems priced after survey. We look at the building, the people in it, the equipment and the hours it’s used, and a fixed-price quote follows. So you know exactly what you are getting and what it costs. We are often asked to deal with work raised by a TM44 inspection and systems that need out-of-hours or phased installation, across ceiling cassettes, multi-split systems and wall-mounted split systems.
For a business near Highmoor, outdoor units usually have room at the back of the building, out of sight and away from neighbours.
Some manufacturers make regular servicing by a qualified engineer a condition of their warranty. If that applies to your system, booking the service on time keeps the record straight and each visit is recorded.

Commercial air conditioning in Highmoor: local notes
Highmoor is about 39 miles from central London, well within the area we cover from our base in East Grinstead.
A bursar or site manager at a school like Stoke Row Church of England School will want the install planned around the school calendar, and we work to that. For a church or hall like Church of St Paul, any outdoor unit needs the right consents first.
Highmoor is about 4 miles north-west of Henley-on-Thames, in Oxfordshire. Our engineers cover Highmoor for commercial air conditioning and across the rest of Oxfordshire. Our Oxfordshire coverage runs to 443 places, and Highmoor is one of them. Guildford, roughly 28 miles off, has its own page on this site.
We cover every part of the RG9 postcode area. Whether you’re on The Glebe and Holly Close or anywhere close by, our engineers can take on the work. Neighbouring places we cover include Highmoor Cross (1 mile south-east), Shepherd's Green (1 mile south-east), Catslip (1 mile north-east), Nettlebed (2 miles north) and Kingwood Common (2 miles south). Within a short drive, we also cover Didcot (11 miles west), Abingdon-on-Thames (15 miles north-west), Thame (13 miles north) and Henley-on-Thames (4 miles south-east).

What happens if it’s left?
When the cooling can’t keep up, staff, customers and equipment all feel it. Planning a replacement or upgrade before the summer is easier than reacting in a heatwave. Booking before summer means the work in Highmoor is done before the hot weather.
A single unit or a whole estate, the quote is built the same way: what needs doing, how we get to it and what it needs. You’ll have a fixed price before work begins, and the quote sets out the VAT.

Highmoor: your questions answered
Is Highmoor in your area for commercial air conditioning?
We do: Highmoor falls inside our working area. Just give us a ring on 07833 053749 or email us with a few details.
Can I fit air conditioning in Highmoor without planning permission?
The answer turns on the property and where the outdoor unit would sit. The half-mile around the middle of Highmoor holds about 8 listed buildings and structures. An air-to-air system used for heating as well as cooling can be permitted development on a house if it meets the conditions, but a cooling-only unit isn’t covered, listed buildings need consent and conservation areas restrict outdoor units facing a road. Where necessary, we check with the planning department at South Oxfordshire council, typically the authority for Highmoor.
Can you come out in an emergency?
Yes, day and night. When you call, tell us the make, what’s happening and any error code, and we’ll talk you through the next steps.
What accreditations do you have?
As the law requires for refrigerant work, we’re an F-Gas certified company. NICEIC approval, MCS certification for heat pumps and Checkatrade membership sit alongside it.
Will I get records for the system?
Yes. Each visit is written up, including F-Gas records for any refrigerant work. File them with the system’s paperwork.
Which brands do you work with?
Mitsubishi Electric, Daikin, Fujitsu, Panasonic, Toshiba, LG, Samsung, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Hitachi and others. For a new system, we suggest the make and model that suit the property and tell you why.
Does my building need a TM44 inspection?
Systems with an effective rated output over 12 kW need a TM44 inspection at least every 5 years. An accredited energy assessor carries it out and we can help before and after.
The process
Everything the job needs comes with us, from tools and test equipment to ladders and dust sheets. You only need to give us clear access to the units, or their planned positions, and to the fuse board. On site, the work takes anything from a day or two for a small office to several weeks of phased work on a large building. For a village like Highmoor, tell us about narrow lanes, gates and parking when you book.
- We start with the details of the building and the problem.
- A site survey confirms the heat load, the layout and the access.
- The options, cost and timing are set out in a fixed-price quote.
- Installation goes ahead around the business.
- We commission it, hand it over and can set up a maintenance contract.
Preparing for the visit
- Unlock any gate, garage or side passage we need
- Let us know if the building has a permit or sign-in process
- Dig out any previous service or F-Gas records

VAT is set out clearly on every quote, with the rate that applies to your job. VAT can differ between homes and businesses and between kinds of work, so we confirm it on the quote. To get one, call 07833 053749 or write to us at info@aircondoctor.co.uk.
Advice
Safe owner checks
Refrigerant is off limits for anyone without the right qualifications. Under the F-gas rules, engineers need their own qualifications and the company must be certified, and escaping refrigerant can cause cold burns. A suspected leak is our job, not yours.
For air conditioning, cleaning the indoor unit’s filters is the main job owners can do, if the manual says so. They come out, get a gentle clean and go back only when they’re dry. On a heat pump, the equivalent is keeping the outdoor unit clear and checking the controls.
From one of our customers
“Office air con broke down in the July heatwave. Called at 8am, engineer was here by noon and fixed within 2 hours. Brilliant emergency response. They now hold the service contract for the whole building.”
