Air conditioning servicing in Weston
A service is not the same as a regas. The refrigerant circuit is sealed, so a system that’s short of gas has a leak somewhere. If the performance checks point to a leak, we explain the options for finding and fixing it rather than just topping up. If the problem is noisy fans or rattling from the outdoor unit and F-gas leak checks falling due, we can sort it out.
A service around Weston is booked to suit you, and most single systems take an hour or two.
If a fault appears while the equipment is under the manufacturer’s warranty, tell us the make, model and installation date. We’ll tell you how the manufacturer’s warranty is likely to apply before anything chargeable is done.

Air conditioning servicing in Weston: the local picture
Weston lies within about 1 mile of the sea. A yearly service matters more near the coast, where salt speeds up corrosion on coils and fixings. 6 conservation areas lie within a mile of central Weston. That only matters for replacements, where a new outdoor unit on a protected building can need consent.
If you look after a school such as Weston Shore Infant School, servicing is easiest in the holidays. For an office near Sholing station, servicing can be booked before or after working hours.

What else we do in Weston
Weston: your questions answered
How often do you service systems in Weston?
Once a year suits most home systems. Business systems may also need F-gas leak checks, at least every 12 months from 5 tonnes CO2 equivalent.
Does being near the sea make a difference to air conditioning servicing in Weston?
It can, as Weston is within about 1 mile of the sea, where salt in the air is hard on coils and fixings. Regular servicing, with the outdoor coil cleaned and checked, helps a coastal system last.
Which accreditations do you hold?
We’re an F-Gas certified company, with NICEIC approval for electrical work and MCS certification for heat pumps. We’re members of Checkatrade too.
Will you work on another installer’s system?
Yes. We look at it first and tell you what we find, including anything about the original installation that needs putting right. You get a fixed price before any work goes ahead.
Can I have a maintenance contract for my air conditioning?
Yes, for homes and businesses. The visits, what each covers and the price are agreed with your quote and the servicing happens on time.
Is Weston in your area?
Yes. We cover Weston and across Southampton, as part of our area across London and the South East. To book, call 07833 053749 or fill in the contact form.
Do I get paperwork after the visit?
Yes, on every job. A new system comes with commissioning details, F-Gas records and the manufacturer’s warranty information, while repairs and services get a written note of what was found and done.
What affects the cost of air conditioning servicing
Jobs vary more than people expect. The main factors:
- The pipe route between the units
- The number of rooms, units or zones
- Which make and model is being fitted or worked on
Homes, offices, shops and public buildings are all priced the same way: what’s needed, how we reach it, the parts and the labour. Ask for a fixed-price quote and we’ll go through it with you.
What we need to know
Before you ask for a quote, gather:
- Photos showing the indoor unit and the space around it
- The outdoor side of the property, including any roof or flat area
- The remote or wall controller showing any error
Our prices page gives typical ranges, but your quote is based on your job, because no two buildings, rooms or systems are the same. After a look at the job, by photos or a survey, the price is fixed. To get going, ring us on 07833 053749, or email if that’s easier.
Different systems, different jobs
Indoor and outdoor coils
Room air passes over the indoor coil, which takes heat out or puts it in. We clean it so air can pass through the fins and heat can pass in and out and any damage is noted.
Wall-mounted, ducted and cassette units
Ceiling cassettes are common in offices, shops and restaurants. The grille drops down for the filters, and the drain and pump are checked inside.
When something else is needed
Not every problem is solved by air conditioning servicing, and we’d rather say so up front. It will not put right:
- Lost refrigerant, where the fix is a leak repair
- Major component failures that call for a repair visit
- Poor original installation, such as drains without a proper fall
If in doubt, ring 07833 053749 or send an email and we will say what we think.
Parts of the system we cover
- Air-to-air heat pumps
- Ceiling cassettes
- Wall-mounted split systems
- Multi-split systems
- Ducted systems
- VRF systems
What we do, step by step
We book the visit for a day and time that suit you, and we keep you posted if anything changes. On arrival, the engineer compares the job with the survey, your pictures or the details you gave us. If something is different, we talk it through with you before carrying on. After that, it takes an hour or so for a single wall-mounted unit, longer for a multi-split system. Photos of the existing unit and its label help with repairs and servicing near Weston.
- You tell us the brand, the number of indoor units and any symptoms.
- Each indoor unit has its covers lifted so the filters, coil and tray can be cleaned.
- Outside, the coil is cleaned, the fan checked and the area cleared.
- Readings are taken on the electrics and refrigerant circuit, and the controls are tried in each mode.
- Anything we find is explained, with a fixed price if it needs a repair.
Before we arrive
- Make sure we can reach the outdoor unit, or where it will go
- Let us know if the building has a permit or sign-in process
- Have the make and model of any existing unit to hand
Getting a price
Every quote starts with a look at the job, either on a site survey or, for simple jobs, from your pictures and details. Then you get a fixed price so you know the cost before we begin.
