Air con servicing in Esher
One call covers annual servicing and F-Gas leak checks for domestic and commercial air conditioning in Esher: diagnosis, fixed price, work and sign-off. F-Gas certified, NICEIC approved and Checkatrade members.
- Systems that haven’t been serviced for a while
- New noises from the indoor or outdoor unit
- Water dripping from the indoor unit
When something else is needed
An honest diagnosis matters more to us than a booking, so here’s what air conditioning servicing won’t do:
- Cooling capacity that doesn’t match the space
- Rooms that gain heat faster than any unit could cope with
- Pipework or drainage that was badly installed in the first place
If you are not sure, just give us a ring on 07833 053749 or fill in the contact form and we’ll give you a straight answer before booking.
Parts of the system we cover

How we handle air conditioning servicing in Esher
An annual service is £95–£150 + VAT, confirmed before the visit is booked. Larger systems with several indoor units, ducted units or commercial plant are priced on their details. Either way, you know the cost before the engineer arrives. If the problem is systems that need a 6 or 12-monthly leak check and iced-up coils or pipework, we can help.
In a place like Esher, the outdoor unit often sits near a garden, hedge or trees, so the outdoor coil can clog with leaves and seeds. Every service includes cleaning it.
Nothing is signed off by word of mouth: commissioning details and F-Gas records for a new system, a note of the fault and the fix for a repair, or a service record. Keep it with the system’s paperwork, because it helps with any later warranty question.

Before you call an engineer
Don’t move, re-route or disconnect units or pipework yourself. Moving a unit involves the refrigerant circuit, so it needs an F-Gas qualified engineer, and the electrical side needs a competent person. Ask us to quote for a move instead.
Never try to top up, release or handle refrigerant yourself. The law requires anyone working on equipment containing F gas to hold the right qualifications, and the company to be certified, and escaping refrigerant can cause cold burns. If you suspect a leak, switch the system off and call us.
Keeping systems in Esher running
The last census (2021) found about 65% of households in detached or semi-detached houses. If the outdoor unit is high up or behind a locked gate, mention it when you book. Esher’s centre is no more than about a third of a mile from the Esher Conservation Area. About 40 listed entries lie within half a mile of central Esher, Church of St George (grade I) among them. If a repair turns into a replacement on a listed building or in a conservation area, we check the planning position before changing the outdoor unit.
If you run premises near Esher station, ask about servicing several units in one visit. Site managers at schools like Milbourne Lodge School can have the site’s units serviced during a holiday.
Esher is about 5 miles north-west of Epsom, in Surrey. We cover Esher for air conditioning servicing and across the rest of Surrey. In Surrey alone we list 395 places and Esher is among them. Croydon, roughly 12 miles off, has its own page on this site.
A recent job of ours in Esher was on High Street (KT10): installing a Daikin VRF system serving the dining room, private dining room and bar area: five indoor units in total.

Looking after it afterwards
Every system needs looking after, and most of it is easy. Our tips:
- Don’t wait for a small drip to become a leak
- Hold on to every service report
- Diary the next service before this one is forgotten
Once we have gone, use the system as normal and see how it performs. If anything seems off, phone 07833 053749 or drop us a line and we will look into it.
An annual service is the simplest routine to keep to with extra visits where the system runs constantly or needs more frequent leak checks.
The process
The first job on site is protection: dust sheets over floors and furniture near the work, and we ask before moving anything. Then the electrics are made safe and the work begins. It takes anything from an hour for a simple split system to most of a day for a larger installation, and we tidy up before we leave. Let us know how to reach the outside wall or outdoor unit at your property near Esher.
- We book a time that suits you and confirm the price.
- Before any cleaning, the system is run so we can see how it behaves.
- Then the cleaning: filters, coils, fan and the drain line.
- We check the wiring, controls and refrigerant circuit, and leak check systems that need it.
- A final test run follows, then you get the service record.
Preparing for the visit
- Mention any roof access, ladders or high-level work
- Tell us about parking and loading
- Plan for pets to be kept clear during the visit
How to get a quote
Published ranges are a starting point; the quote is built on your property, because no two buildings, rooms or systems are the same. After a look at the job, by photos or a survey, the price is fixed. To get going, give us a ring on 07833 053749, or email if that’s easier.
Advice
Questions from Esher
Do you cover smaller places like Esher?
We do. Villages and hamlets get the same service as the bigger towns. Visits to smaller places are planned so the engineer arrives with what the job needs.
Can you do air conditioning servicing in Esher?
Yes. We work across London and the South East from our base in East Grinstead, and Esher is part of that. To start, ring 07833 053749, or email if that’s easier with a few photos.
Do you top up refrigerant during a service?
A regas is a separate job, done once a leak has been found and fixed. Topping up without finding the leak means the gas escapes again and that’s money wasted.
What’s the price of a yearly air conditioning service?
£95–£150 + VAT covers the annual service with the figure confirmed before the visit. If the service finds a fault, we price the repair separately and only go ahead if you agree.
Will servicing keep my manufacturer’s warranty valid?
That is down to your manufacturer’s terms, which vary. Where servicing is a condition, keeping an annual service record helps show the terms were followed, and we can explain what your brand asks for.
Is there a survey before the work?
Yes, every time. We diagnose before we treat: the survey tells us what the job needs and how to do it and the fixed price is built on it.
How do you keep the place clean during the work?
We put dust sheets over floors and furniture near the work first, and we tidy up as we go. Before we leave, we clear up and run through the work with you.
