- Weak airflow from the indoor unit
Do you need air conditioning repair in Tongham?
Water dripping from an indoor unit is normally about the condensate. The drain may be blocked or kinked, the condensate pump may have failed, or the unit may not be level, and ice on the coil that melts can drip too.
These are the situations we see most often:
- Air conditioning running but not cooling
- A unit that won’t start
- Drips from the indoor unit
The make, model and error code are the most useful things to tell us.
What your quote should include
- If the figure could change on the day
- Whether testing, commissioning and paperwork are included
- What paperwork you’ll receive afterwards

We prepare for a visit to Tongham from the make and model you give us, and if a part has to be ordered, we tell you the price before we fit it.

Leave it or put it right?
Leaving a fault seldom makes it go away. A drip can turn into a damaged ceiling, and a slow leak can leave the compressor straining, so getting it looked at early typically means a simpler repair. An early booking makes the visit to Tongham easier to arrange.
Several rooms, units or sites on one quote can make for a more efficient booking. Tell us about everything you’d like looked at and we will price it together.
Why us?
- A reply the same working day

- An F-Gas certified company, as the law requires

What a repair looks like in Tongham
Listed buildings are part of the picture here: about 7 within half a mile of the centre, such as Church of St Paul (grade II). Day-to-day work on an existing system isn’t affected; a replacement outdoor unit on a protected building might be. About 33 miles out from central London, Tongham is part of the South East area we work across.
Schools such as St Paul's CofE Infant School & Nursery can report a fault on the 24/7 line and have non-urgent work done out of term.
Tongham is about 1 mile south-east of Aldershot, in Surrey. Whether you are in the middle of Tongham or further out, we cover air conditioning repair, from small jobs to large ones. Our area takes in 395 places across Surrey, from busy centres to quieter spots. Guildford is in our area too, around 7 miles away.
Not far from Tongham, a recent job of ours was on Castle Street, Farnham (GU9), about 3 miles south-west: installing a Fujitsu multi-split system serving three offices and a client meeting room.
Our working area takes in GU10 in full. That includes properties on The Street, Chester Way and Lambourne Way and the roads around them. We also cover Sandy Cross (1 mile south), Ash (1 mile north-east), Seale (1 mile south-east), Ash Green (1 mile north-east) and Badshot Lea (1 mile west). Further out, we also cover Guildford (7 miles east), Woking (9 miles north-east), Camberley (7 miles north) and Farnham (3 miles south-west).

Locally, jobs take us to houses, flats and workplaces close to Aldershot Park, The White Hart pub and Ash Manor School and the streets around them. Tongham’s nearest station is Ash station, about 1.4 miles north-east. Well-known places in the area include Farnham Castle (3.2 miles west) and Guildford Hospital (5.3 miles east). What we do, step by step
Our engineers arrive at the time agreed with you and check the plan with you first. Floors and furniture near the work are covered with dust sheets, and the electrics are made safe before any panel comes off. The work itself takes as long as the fault needs, from a quick fix to a return visit for parts. Seeing the property in photos first helps us plan the trip to Tongham.
- You tell us the symptoms, the make and any error code.
- A diagnosis visit finds the cause with proper tests.
- You get the cause explained and a fixed price for the repair.
- Once agreed, the repair goes ahead.
- We test the system in operation and leave you a note of the fault and the fix.
Preparing for the visit
- Clear access to the fuse board
- Tell us about any building rules, permits or sign-in
- Unlock any gate, garage or side passage we need

Photos are the fastest route to a quote: the inside and outside of the property where the work is, plus the rating plate of any unit already there. Tell us the address and what you need, and simple jobs can often be priced without a visit.

Managing agents and facilities teams in Tongham
Where a tenant occupies the property but the landlord owns the system, the lease or tenancy agreement normally sets out who maintains what. We can quote either party, and the paperwork can go to both.
Records are where property maintenance often slips. Every visit is written up, plus the F-Gas records where refrigerant is involved, ready for a tenant, a buyer or an inspection.
Tongham questions
Is Tongham in your area for air conditioning repair?
Yes. We work across London and the South East from our base in East Grinstead, and Tongham is part of that. Get in touch with the details and we reply the same working day.
Do you cover smaller places like Tongham?
Yes. Tongham is within the area we cover across London and the South East. A few photos and the postcode are enough to get things started.
Do you have a 24/7 line for breakdowns?
Yes, day and night. Urgent cases include water leaking through a ceiling or a server or comms room overheating, and we’ll advise on what to do straight away. The number is 07833 053749.
What does the error code on my air conditioning mean?
Codes differ by brand, and the same code can cover several faults. Send us a photo of the display with the make and model and we’ll test the system to confirm the cause.
Why use an F-Gas certified company?
Certification shows a business is approved to work on systems that hold F gas refrigerant. That isn’t optional: it’s required by law, and AirCon Doctor is certified.
What accreditations do you have?
F-Gas certified, NICEIC approved and MCS certified for heat pumps, and we are Checkatrade members. Our engineers also hold the individual F-gas qualifications needed to work on refrigerant.
Which brands do you work with?
We install and work on the leading makes, from Mitsubishi Electric, Daikin and Fujitsu to Panasonic, Toshiba, LG, Samsung, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and Hitachi. Tell us the make and model and we’ll take it from there.
